From Hemingway's to Newhall Farm

Hello friends of Hemingway's,
Last year tropical storm/hurricane Irene intervened with some damage to Hemingway’s. After much deliberation we feel it is time to move on and continue our pursuit from "table-to-farm."

Having implemented the farm-to-table concept since we began Hemingway’s in 1982, the opportunity to reverse our situation from “table-to-farm” became appealing. We feel it is a good way to make additional use of our accumulated knowledge and connections over the past 30 plus years. Thus we have decided to close our dear restaurant and pursue a new career.

We never thought to give the notion of using local products and wild edibles a name, for we never saw it as a movement. Our European roots schooled us to understand it was simply what a good restaurant was obligated to do. We have implemented new Diet concepts considering your health and fitness. An experienced medical professional guides us in implementing our Diet Plan from Farm to Table. This family food and travel webpage provides more information about the meal delivery kits.

Happily it became a trend and great Vermont products are now more abundant than ever. We hope in our small way we helped contribute to that end.
